Eberbach, March 7, 2020: In April krauth technology wins another tender and starts right away with the new project of Görlitzer Verkehrsbetriebe GmbH.
The Görlitzer Verkehrsbetriebe (GVB) operate the city transport in Görlitz on two tram and seven bus lines. The sale of tickets occurs with the exception of the subscriptions mainly through ticket vending machines at the stops and inside the trams and buses. The devices used here are already old and will be replaced by a new generation of terminals with the latest technology from krauth technology by mid 2021.
With the contract award Krauth technology takes over the development, production, delivery, construction, installation and commissioning of the complete distribution systems. This includes 23 x stationary ticket vending machines of the new series kt 0334 with an inside door and 25 x mobile ticket vending machines AK 0328 including the corresponding background system. Compared to the existing sales systems, the new ticket vending machines will be equipped with contactless reading and writing units for eTickets. In addition, the stationary ticket vending machines will feature a voice connection for ticket purchase.
The management of krauth technology is pleased to start another project with the GVB and to upgrade the city transport in Görlitz with new ticketing systems.
